What is the Pixelide Image Workspace?

It's a completely web based image management, online distribution and client/vendor integration solution. It is a centralized 'command center' for your digital assets. You can sign into the Workspace from anywhere, at anytime. No special software is required. After signing in securely, you can manage images in your archive, order digital prints, artwork services, download or share images via online web based invites. The Workspace provides a true web based digital workflow and help you replace conventional way of handling image files.

Yes. You may send us your storage device. We will upload the entire hard drive contents into your Workspace. There are no limits on the amount of data we can upload. The service is offered at a nominal charge.

What is an online image archive?

An online image archive is a repository of your digital assets on a secure, web based computing environment. Pixelide's online image archive offers a reliable, secure and geographically redundant storage solution that can handle terabytes of data. Everything stored in the archive is indexed and tracked by a database. The archive is accessed only via secure authentication. It gives you real-time control of your original files and lets you distribute copies of original files with anyone via secure online galleries.

How secure is the image archive?

Your archive resides on multiple secure servers, backed up across the globe. Data stored in the archive is always private. Only the account owner can change permissions on private data. Strict permissions are enforced by default on all stored data objects. Everything in the archive is accessed via 128-bit secure web interface.

What is invites-based image sharing?

Your image files are private and available only to you and invited guests. Image files are shared by sending an email link directly from your Workspace. This link loads a secure Lightbox gallery for your guests. It loads with permissions for viewing or downloading, that you control in real-time. Invited guests see a centralized screen with invites from all Pixelide members.

Can guests download entire photo collections?

Yes. It's based on permissions that you can control from your Workspace. Guests can bulk copy entire folders or selected image files into their own archive with just one click. If you allow, guests bulk copy original image files that you have shared via the invite.
